Le Petit Ballet Co. knows even the smallest dancer has a heart full of big dreams. We love to help children reach for the stars and go after those dreams! LPBC is a structured dance education enrichment program offered to young students in partnership with preschools and elementary schools in North Carolina. We love providing children the extraordinary opportunity to experience the performing arts in a fun, familiar setting that is convenient for families. But we are about so much more than tutus and twirling. Our creative lessons and encouraging instructors build confidence in our dancers to "reach for the stars" and encourage growth of character, grace, and positive qualities needed to chase their dreams in life—all while having a magical time!
Our Programs
Le Petit Ballet Co. offers two programs for our young dancers.
Minis
Our preschool/daycare program was specifically designed with our youngest dancers (ages 3-5) in mind. Our creative movement lessons include games, props, and a little imagination to teach basic ballet vocabulary and classical ballet positions and movements. The LPBC lessons grow dancers' self-awareness, confidence, and character to prepare them for a perfect final performance. With our minis, ballet class is always filled with excitement and magical surprises, just around the next twirl.
Petites
Kindergarten, first and second grade students always say they can't wait for "ballet day"! They love our exciting dance lessons that grow them as dancers and prepare them for a magical performance. Through structured lessons, games, and props, dancers learn ballet terms (yes, in French!) while having fun. Our petites build listening skills and body control, as well as develop character and self-esteem. Our elementary aged students dancers grow so much throughout the session, finally leaving their performance with an amazing sense of accomplishment and pride. It’s all an experience they will never forget—a dream come true!
